EXCLUSIVE 1 YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

Granite and marble surfaces by Proficient Discount Granite, Inc. are designed with top quality materials and workmanship. Granite has natural tissues which may look like cracks, but are not structural defects and are a naturally occurring result of the immense heat and pressure which formed the granite ages ago. These characteristics are part of the natural beauty of the stone, and will not impair the function or durability of material. Granite, Marble, Onyx, Quartz, are all natural materials with naturally occurring variations in color, tone, granularity, pattern, etc. These variations are expected and are the source of its natural beauty.

Our products are warranted to be free from manufacturing defects for one (1) year from date the product leaves our warehouse, however because of the natural composition of stone we cannot guarantee that the stone will not crack on the countertop. We will however, repair any cracks free of charge that occur within one (1) year of installation. Any cracks that occur after one (1) year will be repaired on a service charge basis.

If Proficient Discount Granite, Inc. installs the product, workmanship is also warranted for one (1) year from date of installation. Products should be inspected upon installation and any defects should be reported to your builder, contractor or sales representative as soon as possible. Proficient Discount Granite, Inc.’s obligation is limited to repairing or replacing the product purchased from us. This warranty does not apply to damage resulting from exceptions as noted below and from: damage, misuse, abuse, alterations, improper installation (if not installed by PDG), unauthorized repair, negligence or failure to follow instructions for proper care.

Our warranty does not cover:

•Water damage

•Damage from heat in excess of 275 degrees

•Damage from abrasive cleaners or harsh chemicals
